Performance

VHVI

VHVI TECH is SK's proprietary oil technology that creates the benefits from SK's highest quality VHVI
base oil, YUBASE, and the additives of careful selection.※
VHVI : Very High Viscosity Index

Protection

VHVI

Contains no harmful impurities in YUBASE interrupting additives performance, so provides better
engine cleasnliness and engine protection by cutting-edge additives.

Consumption

VHVI

VHVI TECH has much less light oil portion that vaporizes in hign temperature engine and leads to minimizing oil consumption and saving your money.

VHVI is Very High Viscosity Index

VHVI is Very High Viscosity Index, SK Lubricants’ patented technology to provide the highest quality base oils for lubricants for the ZIC brand.

SK Corporation has developed a new Technology which offers the refiners who operate fuels hydro-crackers an alternative to produce high quality VHVI base oils from a variety of crudes. The first commercial facility, designed by Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, came on stream at SK’s Ulsan refinery in October 1995 and produces 3,500 bpd of VHVI base oils named YUBASE. SK’s UCO lube process is a unique, patented process to produce a VHVI base oil from fuels hydro-cracked residue, which we call UCO (unconverted oil). The point of this process is the recycling of hydro-cracker bottom oils and integration of fuels hydro-cracker with lube process to produce fuels and lube base oils economically. VHVI TECH is SK’s proprietary oil technology, benefiting from SK’s highest quality VHVI base oil, YUBASE.

Better Engine Protection.

Larger Drain Interval.

Lower Oil Consumption.

Information

The choice of oil is very important for your engine. The most obvious function of the engine oil for lubrication, but the engine oil protects against corrosion and components of the engine and cleans the deposits and contaminants which may arise as by-products of combustion. Engine oil is also responsible for cooling. Therefore, we recommend that you make your choice without compromising on quality.
